Why Should a Business Join Homegrown El Paso?

Homegrown El Paso is a 501-c-6 not-for-profit corporation. Funds raised from membership dues and donations are used to promote the importance of buying from local business. By working together we can keep more money in El Paso.

We acomplish our goals by:

• Building and maintaining a web site (www.HomegrownElPaso.com) telling people why they should buy from locally owned, independent business. The site includes a directory of members.
• Providing member businesses with a "Certified Homegrown El Paso" window decal to display.
• Producing an annually membership directory with information about all of our members and the importance of buying locally.
• Buying advertising and placing public service announcements urging locals to "Buy Homegrown El Paso"
• Conducting an on-going public relations effort to remind the local media why we should all buy Homegrown El Paso
• Staging events to promote our members and give people the opportunity to buy Homegrown El Paso
